FAQs

How Does a house auction work?

1

We’ll look at your house and determine if it’s a good auction candidate. If you want to sell as-is, if you want to have a transparent bid process, if you want a more defined timeline-auction may be for you.

Sell your home in the greater Charlotte NC with multiple options!

How much does it cost?

2

For a house auction, it varies but can be less expensive than a traditional sale. For a whole-house estate contents auction, the setup fee typically runs $2,500 to $5,000, and package pricing is available with a home sale. Our monthly Market Ready online sale has its own consignor pricing. For a benefit auction, Leigh’s standard fee is $10,000 per event, with special pricing for qualifying North Carolina nonprofits. What happens to unsold items?

This depends on your goals, your offerings, and your audience. We’ll set up a consulting session to evaulate all of these items and set the event up for success. Is your staff exhausted? We’ll help structure the event to maximize time.

We have a list of buyers who specialize in unsold items-plus, we have a non-profit that will accept donations if that is preferable. We’ll be in communication to determine what suits YOU.
